Claudene's Personal Story
After Claudene had her son at 41 years old, and after experiencing a lot of sleep deprivation Claudene developed postpartum depression. She battled depression for many years, slowly feeling better with various treatments and medications. Claudene eventually had plastic surgery done by Alecia Sigler MD and weeks later, felt as if the depression was gone. The gratification of removing the years and feeling more like herself was uplifting and empowering. With this experience, Claudene decided that she too wanted to help people look and feel their best and decided to pursue a career in Aesthetics. "Beautifying people makes her happy". Having her own business, and being able to create her own schedule offers her a good balance between work life and personal life with her husband and two kids. Claudene still works Wednesdays at a family practice clinic taking care of Western Growers employees in Oxnard on Wednesdays.
Dr. Daniel Furoy MD, Supervising Physician
Dr. Daniel Furoy is the co-owner and supervising physician at Younger You Medispa Weightloss & Wellness Clinic. He has over 15 years of experience in Emergency Medicine and works full-time as an Emergency Room Physician in the Los Angeles area. Dr. Furoy takes pride in offering outstanding care to all of his patients. Daniel enjoys the outdoors, hiking, surfing, and spending time with his lovely wife and two adorable kids.
Certifications
- Claudene Stark got her Bachelors in Nursing from Mount Saint Mary's College, and became a Registered Nurse in 2004. She then persued her Masters as a Family Nurse Practitioner from UCLA. Claudene is a certified Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) where she is still an active member. Claudene has furthered her education with hundreds of hours of continuing medical education by the the American Academy of Facial Esthetics (AAFE) and is currently an Associate Member at the AAFE. Claudene also has extensive training in weight loss management.
